Frank Bond and friend showed up today to do battle with the cobia and they got a bonus. We caught five cobia and frank got his Fourth virginia saltwater citation a great 53 inch Cobia. Then the lower chesapeake bay offered a suprise like it usualy does with this GIANT 54 inch Red Drum. Don’t forgett about the Virginia striped bass fishing season that runs from oct 4 to march. COBIA
Cobia are well known for their great fight and are also great to eat. Cobia will arive in the Lower Chesapeake Bay in mid-May and will stay in the Chesapeake Bay untll late September. We will be sight casting, trolling and also live and dead baiting for these Cobia.
